Isaac E. Young Middle School

Greetings from the health office at Isaac E. Young Middle School! Our health office is located on the lower level of the castle, rm 132. Please feel free to visit or call the health office at 914-576-4368 and 4369. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have to keep your children healthy throughout the school year!

Our hours are 8a.m.-4 p.m. school days.

IMPORTANT All seventh graders must have an up to date state mandated physical. All 7th grade students please see the nurse with your physical forms. ASAP

 Message:
As we prepare for the new school year, we would like to inform you of the following requirements needed for the upcoming school year:

-ALL IN-COMING 6th GRADERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THE TDAP VACCINE BY THE AGE OF 11 YEARS OLD. This is a state requirement.  Please make sure you have the required documentation of this vaccine brought to the health office or they will be excluded from school.

-ALL 7TH GRADERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A PHYSICAL EXAM THAT MUST BE SIGNED BY A PARENT/GUARDIAN AND BROUGHT TO THE HEALTH OFFICE BY THE END OF OCTOBER. As well as the Menactra (MENINGITIS) vaccine. This is a state requirement. 

-ALL 7th and 8th graders interested in our sports program MUST have a current physical brought to the health office and be MEDICALLY CLEARED to try out. Fall sports start up early September so please prepare your children accordingly.
