The City School District of New Rochelle is pleased to welcome Dr. Stephen L. Dewey to discuss the effects of vaping and addiction in adolescents.
This workshop will cover four main aspects:
- Understanding the effects of addictive substances on the adolescent brain
- Discusses and describes the direct effect of various drugs of abuse and environmental influences
- Discusses and presents state of the art medical imaging technology used to investigate brain chemistry
- Presents how the adolescent brain differs from the adult brain.
