The Mobile Food Pantry returned to Isaac E. Young Middle School recently and distributed approximately 7,000 pounds of food to 164 families, feeding a total of almost 500 people. This initiative is crucial to local families; a healthy, consistent diet can help students in school and with their quality of life. The Mobile Food Pantry is sponsored by the City School District of New Rochelle’s Pupil Personnel Services Department and Feeding Westchester, and superintendent Jonathan Raymond frequently shows his support by stopping by (first photo). The Mobile Food Pantry returns to Isaac E. Young Middle School on Wednesday, May 11 from 4-5 p.m. All are welcome.
